Honorary member, Tyree Guyton, and co-author, Jenenne Whitfield, held a book signing at the Scarab Club for their publication "Connecting the Dots: Tyree Guyton's Heidelberg Project". On September 5, 2008, Joy Hakanson Colby, revered Detroit art critic for over 50 years, was honored through a beam signing event at the Scarab Club
